OUR TRAINING MODEL
The VALK model’s training material caters to the different styles of education: visual, auditory, literacy, and kinesthetic.
Visual learners think through pictures to understand the material and learn the best by watching.
Auditory learners think through dialogue and verbal lectures.
Literacy learners think in terms of the written word and can do well through reading and writing;
Kinesthetic learners believe in actions and experiences and like to explore actively.
The VALK model suggests that people have a dominant learning style. Still, they can also benefit from incorporating elements of other types into their learning to enhance their comprehension and retention of information.
If you bring all the elements of VALK into the students’ training, you will have a multimodal approach where the students use all their senses. Using the Multimodal training approach, the FOHESA platform provides a platform where students see, hear, write, and do.

Applying the VALK in e-learning involved interactivity with the screen through touching and interactivity with the content through thinking. The interactivity allows for navigation, exploration and decision-making. The interactivity affects the 3C Model, which includes challenges, choices, and consequences.
